Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain highly reliable and scalable web services and UIs that enable Machine Learning systems.
• Work collaboratively within our machine learning team to build cloud-based solutions for exciting new projects and use-cases.
• Understand product requirements, engage with team members and customers to define solutions, and estimate the scope of work required.
• Familiar with Rest API and can integrate React/Angular-based web front-ends with back-end
• Write tests to ensure proper functionality of the system.
• Write an example Python client code/client library that can interact with the system from the command line.
• Work closely with designers and product managers to implement user interfaces for responsive web apps.
• Responsible for architecture, development and scaling of the backend systems.
• Help define workflows and processes to ensure consistent code management, deployment and performance.
• Any other tasks as assigned by Management

Educational Requirements:

• B.Sc in Computer Science & Engineering or any other relevant discipline

Additional Requirements:

The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):

• Expertise in building highly available production services, including deployment automation, infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, and scaling.
• Must have a strong understanding of Python, Django, Django Rest Framework (DRF)
• Modern JavaScript front-end frameworks, such as React (preferred)
• Relational database concepts (SQL) / Django ORM concepts.
• Experience of deploying Django applications in the field (WSGI, load balancing, …)
• Exposure to Data Science/ML/Analytics and common tools, such as Spark/Pandas/Tensorflow
• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL databases to build solutions for large scale systems
• Some understanding of containers, build systems, and infrastructure automation.
• Good understanding of the Linux environment and version control.
• Strong communication skills

Experience Requirements:

• At least 3 year(s) of relevant experience in developing web applications with Django / Flask
