Job Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Monitor, progress, and resolve incidents, ensuring customer satisfaction through proactive updates, frequent contact, and timely escalation when necessary.
- Regularly update incidents logged on the Incident Management System, providing end users with technical solutions within Service Level Agreements.
- Contribute to the development or implementation of monitoring software or tools
- Analyze software problems, identify root causes, and provide effective solutions.
- Troubleshoot and fix bugs to enhance the overall software reliability and performance.
- Provide comprehensive support via helpdesk and other communication platforms as needed.
- Work collaboratively with DevOps Engineers and Software Engineers to ensure seamless integration and optimal software functionality.
- Communicate and liaise with clients and suppliers to facilitate problem resolution
- Prepare technical reports as deliverables and record keeping required by Standard Operating Procedures
- Manage production system, incident response, and emergency response
- Analyzing logs, performance tuning, applying patches, testing production environments, conducting issue postmortems
- Serve as a bridge between development teams and operations teams, enabling the development team to bring new software or new features to production as quickly as possible
- Ensure an agreed-upon acceptable level of IT operations performance and error risk in line with the service level agreements (SLAs) the organization has in place with its customers.
- Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager in line with the job role.
Educational Qualification:
- BSc in Computer Science and Engineering, Computer Science, or relevant field from any UGC-approved reputed university.
Experience Requirements:
- At least 1-3 years of working experience within the Software Industry in developing and troubleshooting microservice-based web application software features.
Additional Requirements:
- Experience with Angular (ngx), and scripting languages e.g. Typescript and JavaScript along with other frontend technologies: HTML, CSS tools and frameworks
- Experience with RDBMS, e.g. MS SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL
- Professional Experience with Python-based Web Application Frameworks- Django, Flask
- Experience with containerization and container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes is mandatory
- Experience with issue management, and ticket management software, e.g. Jira, Asana, etc.
- Proficient with Linux-based server operating systems e.g. Ubuntu, RedHat
- Experience in providing Software Support and customer communication at any escalation level L2 / L3.
- Experience with monitoring tools such Prometheus, Grafana and APM tools such as Datadog, Kibana, New Relic is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication, high integrity, and a passion for collaboration
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Capable of working on a rotating shift schedule. Experience working on a rotating shift schedule is a plus
